Subject: Enabling of Salesforce Winter '21 Release Update

Description: It has been identified in the Salesforce Winter '21 platform release that when the Enable Secure Static Resources for Lightning Components update is enabled in an org, the Sumo user interface will no longer be displayed correctly. This is due to the change in the way in which Salesforce serves all static resources (e.g. Images, Style Sheets, JavaScript) which are utilised by many of the components in the Sumo application. Prior to this update, static resources were served from the Lightning domain, however, this update forces static resources to be served from the Visualforce domain. As a consequence, the Sumo components will no longer be able to access the static resources from the Lightning domain, causing them to no longer display correctly. This issue was acknowledged by Salesforce in the following Known Issue:
Action: There are now no issues after enabling the Salesforce update Enable Secure Static Resources for Lightning Components, as long as the org's instance is on at least Winter '21 Patch 12.0. To confirm this, see the Salesforce patch release document.
